It is a remake Of the American film Forrest Gump witch itself is based on Winston Groom’s 1986 Novel of the same name. It has been filmed in more than 100 locations in India.

The writing team has organized Emergency, Operation Blue Star, World Cup victory, Kargil, Rath Yatra. From the formation of the Bajpayee government to the film's backdrop.
