Akshay kumar's Traditional Film Raksha Bandhan to Be Release On 11 August 2022
Aanand L. Rai and Himanshu Sharma collaborated on the script for the upcoming family comedy-drama movie Raksha Bandhan.
Akshay Kumar, Bhumi Pednekar, Sadia Khateeb, Sahejmeen Kaur, Smrithi Srikanth, and Deepika Khanna star in the Zee Studios, Color Yellow Productions, and Cape of Good Films production.
Story
Lala Kedarnath, the oldest and sole sibling of four sisters, owns and operates a chaat shop that his father founded.
On his fragile mother's deathbed, Lala makes a pledge that he won't get married until he has successfully placed his sisters in appropriate marriages.
Lala then proceeds to work tirelessly to marry off his sisters while honouring his familial principles.
Lala is also having problems in his personal life, specifically in his relationship with Sapna, his childhood sweetheart.
However, Lala's devotion to his sisters acts as a major impediment to Sapna's and his love story progressing.
Recognizing the significance of Lala's vow, Sapna decides to wait till his goal is achieved.
First-day advance sales for Raksha Bandhan Akshay Kumar's movie earns $1 million at the cinema office. For the Hindi movie, 7315 tickets have been sold.
The Akshay Kumar-starring film has taken in 1.03 crore, including block seats, and will compete with Laal Singh Chaddha, starring Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor.
The upcoming Aanand L. Rai directed movie Raksha Bandhan, starring Bhumi Pednekar, is currently being promoted by Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar.
On August 11, the movie will be released in theatres.
One crore rupees have already been raised for the movie through advance sales.
