In 2020 Qualcomm is on fire with all its new chipsets this year. Recently they launched the 732G processor which was first debuted in the poco X3. Now Qualcomm announced their new 5G chipset known as the Snapdragon 750G. They claim that it has better performance than the 730G. They promised that the 750G will deliver 20% better CPU performance and 10% better GPU performance compared to the 730G. But these are all in theories. It can only be proved in real-life scenarios. Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G 5G Processor Features
The chipset is manufactured with 8nm LPP technology with ARMv8 based processor. The CPU is a 64-bit architecture with a total of 8 cores which is further divided into2 performance cores and 6 high-efficiency cores. The first two cores have the clock speed up to 2.2Ghz and are an A77-based Kryo 570 Gold CPUs. The last six cores are Kryo 570 Silver A55-based CPUs which are clocked up to 1.8GHz.
On the GPU section, it is powered by Qualcomm Adreno 619 which will provide better graphics quality and rendering speed. Further, the GPU provides features like low latency and smooth gaming experience. It has different API support like OpenGL ES 3.2, OpenCL 2.0 FP, Vulcan 1.1, DirectX 12. The GPU renders and supports high-quality videos.
For the network connectivity, it has the X52 modem which supports 5G/LTE which will give the download speed of maximum 5.7Gbps and an upload speed of 1.6Gbps. The download speed and upload speed of LTE are 1.2Gbps and 210Mbps respectively. Moreover, it supports global roaming and global multi-SIM.
Other features include AI-based echo cancellation and background noise suppression to give you advanced voice-chat gaming experiences, Quick Charge 4+. Moreover, it has display support of the Full HD+ at 120Hz refresh rate.

Xiaomi will be the first to launch a 750G powered smartphone. We did some fact check and it looks like the Mi 10T Lite is probably it. The device will be launched on September 30, 2020, at an online event. According to the FCC listing, the device will come with the new MIUI 12 which may be based on Android 11. Further, in the connectivity section, it will support Bluetooth 5.1, WIFI 6, and NFC and will be equipped with a 4820mAh battery. There are not many specs known about the device. Looks like the Galaxy A42 5G will also come with the new 750G chipset. We were able to access Galaxy A42s benchmark source code that mentions an Octa-core processor with two cores running at 2.21 GHz and six cores clocking at 1.80 GHz along with an Adreno 619 GPU. The company revealed several specs and much more at the beginning of this month. For starters, it has the 6.6-inch SAMOLED FHD+ display. It has features like in-display fingerprint for security. Furthermore, it consist of 20MP front camera and a Quad-camera set up in the back. The rear camera consist of a 48MP main camera + 8MP ultra-wide camera + 5MP macro lens+ 5MP depth lens. To fuel the device it comes with a 5000mAh battery. It will launch in variants of colours- black, white, and grey. This device will be available in November in Europe which will be priced for 369 euros.
